If Benedictine monks had a motto, it would be "Ora et Labora" - Prayer and Work. Benedictine retreats are filled with beautiful examples of Benedictine prayer. What about Benedictine work? St. Benedict, in his Rule, gives his monks many tools for performing good works. Come and enjoy a prayerful retreat where we will peek inside the toolbox and see what tools we all can use for performing good works.
