Prior Work/Life Experience: I was a university student up until the time I joined the monastery.
Education History:
- BS in public relations from Northwest Missouri State
University;
- MA Catholic Thought and Life, Saint Meinrad School of
Theology;
- MDiv Saint Meinrad School of Theology;
Work in the Monastery:
Administrator St. Meinrad (St. Meinrad) and St. Boniface
(Fulda) Parishes; Assistant Monastery Vocations Director; Wood
Chop Committee; Apiarist
Other Interests:
I enjoy reading books by Tom Brown, Jr., spending time outdoors,
traveling, working in re-forestation efforts, serving the
underprivileged in the local area, beekeeping, studying and
presenting in the areas of leadership development and parliamentary
procedure, and riding my bike.
Favorite Memory:
Witnessing my first solemn monastic profession and my first
Christmas in the monastery.
What Attracted Me to Monastic Life:
I was attracted to the rhythm found in monastic life and the
opportunity to live and pray with others. Also, having the
occasion to live life congruent to the liturgical life set by the
Church.
