Computer Technician

Introduction
Do you enjoy working on computers, problem solving, and helping people? We are seeking an experienced Computer Technician to support all computer, technical, and network usability for our organization. You will be responsible for setting up equipment, connecting new users to the network, troubleshooting problems with hardware and software, and installing new programs when necessary.
Our IT department works hard to respond to help desk requests quickly and efficiently, so we need a Computer Technician who is diligent and responsive. We prefer candidates who have at least 2 years of industry experience.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as liaison with vendors and strategic partners as appropriate.
- Install, maintain, and support all desktop systems, printers, and other peripherals, including keeping systems and software updated, licensed, and working in accordance with industry best practices.
- Report and document issues and resolutions
- Willing to be part of an on-call rotating schedule during off hours.
Experience & Qualifications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to be customer focused
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- 1-2 years’ experience working in a Macintosh and Microsoft networking environment preferred
