Archabbot Kurt Stasiak and Br. John Mark Falkenhain attended the annual North American Abbots and Priors Workshop at St. Joseph’s Abbey in Covington, LA, on February 2-3. Br. John Mark was the main presenter on the topic of “Defining and Fostering an Internal Culture of Vocations.”
Br. Stanley Rother Wagner was appointed Liturgical Master of Ceremonies III. He will assist Fr. Thomas Gricoski and Br. Nathaniel Szidik.
Fr. Julian Peters continues work on his writing project, Order of Service: A Handbook for Liturgical Masters of Ceremony, in addition to teaching Latin and the Liturgical Practicum courses in the Seminary and School of Theology.
Br. John Mark Falkenhain was the invited speaker for the South Asian Formators Workshop on “Affective and Sexual Maturity in Formation and Beyond” held at the Divine Word Seminary in Quezon City, Philippines, February 22-24.
Archabbot Kurt Stasiak led the regular visitation of Mount Michael Abbey in Elkhorn, NE, in mid-March.
Br. Dominic Warnecke has started working for Abbey Caskets, in addition to his work as assistant custos of the monastery.
