Saint Meinrad has announced that those serving full-time as FOCUS missionaries are eligible for a full-tuition scholarship to pursue a Master of Arts in Theology through its Graduate Theology Program.
Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology has announced that those serving full-time as campus missionaries for FOCUS (the Fellowship of Catholic University Students) are eligible for a full-tuition scholarship to pursue a Master of Arts in Theology through its Graduate Theology Program. The award is worth up to $26,244 based on current tuition costs. Applications are due by July 1.
The FOCUS Missionary Scholarship is intended to make substantive theological education affordable for those actively engaged in missionary discipleship with young adults on college campuses. The Benedictine charisms of hospitality, conversion of life (conversatio morum), and seeking God provide a strong basis for the ministry of welcoming college students, growing in holiness, and evangelizing the world.
The full-tuition scholarship will support part-time study covering the cost of tuition up to four courses per year (12 credits). Flexible course formats including online, weekend, and intensive classes make it possible to study at Saint Meinrad from anywhere. The scholarship becomes available for the fall 2026 term. Up to three candidates may be selected for the scholarship. Recipients of the scholarship will continue to be eligible as long as they remain full-time FOCUS missionaries. Recipients who conclude their time with FOCUS may be eligible for other generous scholarships including the Lay Ministry Grant.
The Graduate Theology Program at Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology forms laity to minister effectively together with clergy in the service and evangelization of the Church and the world. As FOCUS missionaries go forth in evangelization, Saint Meinrad invites them to join its community of learners to encounter Christ in prayer, study, and service.
