Oblate Novice Retreat

Benedictine Balance: Finding Stability as an Oblate Novice

Br. Stanley Rother Wagner, OSB

January 29-31, 2021

As an oblate novice, have you ever felt the pressure and rigors of daily living? Now think of those responsibilities and add the expectations to pray the Divine Office, go to Mass, and practice lectio divina. You may be asking, “When will I get a break?” Here is your opportunity. “Benedictine Balance: Finding Stability as an Oblate Novice” is a retreat exclusively for oblate novices of Saint Meinrad Archabbey. This oblate novice retreat will focus on finding stability in your prayer, work, and leisure, so you may be obedient to living the spirit of the monastic life in the world.

Since this will be a recorded retreat in light of the COVID Pandemic, the times for you to participate in the retreat are flexible. This is a general schedule. We also invite you to pray with us via the live stream of Mass and Vespers.  You will be billed $30 for the cost of this retreat.
