Catherine of Siena and Julian of Norwich: Women of Hope

Friday, July 17, 2026 - Sunday, July 19, 2026
Location: Archabbey Guest House and Retreat Center
Session Faculty: Fr. Adrian Burke, OSB

St. Catherine and Blessed Julian were women of the late medieval period. They were both living in one of the most tumultuous eras in western history, a time of political, religious, and cultural changes and a time of violence and pandemic! Both of these extraordinary women show us how to remain faithful to Jesus and the hope of the Gospel in the midst of chaos and strife. We will reflect on some of the key teachings each of these women offer us as ways to stay connected with the theological virtue of hope, vital for every time and age...ours included!
