Retreats Overview

Dear Friends,

Welcome to the Saint Meinrad Retreat Program. This page has the titles and links to descriptions of our retreats at the Guest House from August 2026–December 2027, with over 40 opportunities to grow in faith and prayer.

Here’s a brief overview of the retreats. I’ve put them under topics, which don’t always convey the richness of the retreat. Please read the full descriptions of the retreats in the following pages.

Retreats and a workshop on Scripture in 2026 are on August 1, August 21–23, November 13–15, and November 20–22. In 2027, they are on February 23–25, March 15–17, June 4–6, August 27–29, and December 17–19.

Retreats on liturgy and sacraments in 2026 are on September 11–13, September 25–27, and October 23–25. In 2027, they’re on March 24–28 (Holy Week), July 2–4, September 17–19, and November 2–4.

Retreats for married couples are on December 18–20, 2026, and in 2027, on February 12–14, and October 22–24.

Retreats for priests are on October 12–16, 2026, and in 2027, on April 19–23 and October 11–15.

Retreats for young adults (ages 20–35) in 2026 are on August 7–9 and October 23–25. In 2027, they are on January 29–31, April 2–4 (special topic), May 28–30, August 20–22, and November 12–14.

Retreats on various aspects of spirituality in 2026 are on forgiveness (August 28–30) and hope (September 18–20). In 2027, they are on hope (January 15–17), forgiveness (April 30–May 2), keeping faith (May 14–16), and prayer (October 8–10 and November 19–21).

If you are interested in greater understanding of Pope Leo XIV and his Augustinian background, note Fr. Adrian’s retreat on St. Augustine and prayer (October 8–10, 2027).

Archabbot Kurt will be offering two retreats: October 9-11, 2026, on The Rule of St. Benedict and during Lent, March 17-19, 2027, on the Passion accounts in the Gospels.

This is a rich schedule of retreats, and the following descriptions can help you find those to which the Lord may be calling you. I look forward to meeting you when you come for retreat. You will sense here the spirit of hospitality which flows from the Rule of St. Benedict.

Peace and blessings,

Fr. Bede Cisco, OSB
