The King of History: Finding Christ in the Past

Friday, May 17, 2019 - Sunday, May 19, 2019
Location: Archabbey Guest House and Retreat Center
Session Faculty: Br. Stanley Rother Wagner

Theology has often been described as “the Queen of the Sciences,” since all knowledge comes from God. However, human knowledge is contingent upon history, since we are bound by time. The past influences how we view the present and, ultimately, the future. In this retreat, you will formulate a spirituality of history, looking beyond mere historical events. This retreat will enable participants to see history in a Christocentric light, viewing the present as a manifestation of God’s love for us now to give us hope for the future.
