Step away from the noise of daily life and experience the peace of Saint Meinrad Archabbey.

Whether you’re seeking spiritual renewal, discernment, or simply time with God, our Benedictine hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and guided retreats offer a sacred space to listen, pray, and grow.

Check-in time for retreats is 2-4 p.m. Central Time. Vespers in the Archabbey Church is at 5 p.m., followed by supper. The opening conference typically begins at 7:30 p.m. The retreat concludes with lunch on the last day of the program. A complete schedule will be provided at check-in.

The Image as a Window to the Spiritual: An Artist’s Six-Day Hands-on Workshop and Retreat

(Retreatants limited) – From the beginning, art has been used as a pathway toward spiritual insight and awareness. On this studio retreat, each participant will work in one of several media. Emphasis will be placed on cultivating the monastic values of listening, interior silence and gratitude through the process of making art. Each day will include a morning conference, generous afternoon studio time, and evening sharing and discussion in a relaxed atmosphere. Retreatants will also participate in the rhythm of the daily monastic liturgies. ($695 single, $1,045 double)
