Check-in time for retreats is 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Central Time. Vespers in the Archabbey Church is at 5 p.m., followed by supper. The opening conference typically begins at 7:30 p.m. The retreat concludes with lunch on the last day of the program. A complete schedule will be provided at check-in.

In the Gospel of Luke we read: To what can I compare the kingdom of God? It is like yeast that a woman mixed into three measures of flour until all of it was leavened. We are called and sent by Jesus to be leaven in a world needing to be raised up. The light we bear is that of the Gospel, the Word of God dwelling in us by the Holy Spirit. That light is not meant to be buried or concealed, but to radiate and lift up a world darkened by division, violence and injustice. Conferences will reflect on the practical means by which Christians participate in Christ by doing the hard work of reconciling and healing. We participate in his mission to give birth to a new creation conformed to God’s Love – the Kingdom of God. ($255 single, $425 double)
