Whether you’re seeking spiritual renewal, discernment, or simply time with God, our Benedictine hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and guided retreats offer a sacred space to listen, pray, and grow.

Check-in time for retreats is 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Central Time. Vespers in the Archabbey Church is at 5 p.m., followed by supper. The opening conference typically begins at 7:30 p.m. The retreat concludes with lunch on the last day of the program. A complete schedule will be provided at check-in.

Winter Chant Workshop: Bringing to Life the Word of God in Song

This workshop is designed for directors of parish liturgical music and singers in parish liturgies. Come spend a week immersed in the beauty of liturgical chant. Learn and experience how chant is “sung speech,” and prepare to incorporate English and Latin chant into today’s parish liturgy. Through the week, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the liturgies of Saint Meinrad’s Benedictine monastic community, as well as to form and sing in a chant schola.
