Each virtual basket-weaving class will meet for three days via Zoom, two hours each day. The class will cover the fundamentals for creating a twined basket. Along with learning how to form a basket, participants will also learn how to incorporate patterns to add a personal touch to their work. No prior experience is required to take this class.
While a PDF version of instructions will be provided, participants are expected to purchase their own materials. A list of needed materials will be provided below in the ‘Materials’ section of this page. Because the pace of the class will be set by the participants, there is an expectation that they will spend at least 1 hour between class meetings.
Those wishing to continue to take a basket weaving class are invited to do so. While some students may be learning the introductory material, returning students will learn intermediate and advanced techniques.
