Retreat conferences will reflect on the spiritual and theological foundations of “contemplation” as a mode of Christian prayer and a mainstay of spiritual formation and maturity. We’ll explore the roots of contemplative prayer in the early church’s ascetical and monastic movements, and its contemporary form, Centering Prayer; we will discuss the “technique” but also its fruits for a life deeply rooted in and centered on Jesus Christ.
This retreat is currently full, but guests can contact Guest Services at 812-357-6611 to be added to the waiting list.
