Fr. Anthony Vinson offered the Lenten day of recollection for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis presbyterate on April 2 at Fatima Retreat House. His topic was “A Look at St. Albert the Great: Human Formation – Journeying with the Wounds of Christ.”

Fr. Mateo Zamora celebrated Masses in Tagalog (Filipino national language) at St. James Parish in Elizabethtown, KY, on April 6 and at Pax Christi Parish in Lexington, KY, on June 16.

Fr. Eugene Hensell conducted a Lenten biblical series for the Diocese of Nassau, Bahamas, April 7-13.

Fr. Anthony Vinson gave the invocation at the launch of the Justin Thomas Foundation in Louisville, KY, on April 17. Thomas, 25, is ranked among the top 10 golfers in the world and is a native of Louisville.

Br. John Mark Falkenhain taught one week of the international Monastic Formator’s Program in Assisi, Italy, in early May. The topic was human formation.

Fr. Christian Raab attended the annual meeting of the Academy of Catholic Theology in Washington, D.C., on May 21-23.

Br. Simon Herrmann interned as a chaplain at Norton Hospital and Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville, KY, through the Clinical Pastoral Education program from May 28-August 14 as part of seminary formation.

Archabbot Kurt Stasiak attended a meeting of the Conference of Major Superiors of Men in St. Louis, MO, on June 6.

Fr. Eugene Hensell and Fr. Thomas Gricoski were re-elected to two-year terms on the Abbot’s Council. Fr. Tobias Colgan was elected to a one-year term.

Fr. Peduru Fonseka was accepted into the master’s degree program in mental and clinical health at Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI.

Br. John Mark Falkenhain presented on the topic of chant and liturgical music for the Oblate Study Days June 10-13.

Archabbot Kurt Stasiak visited the Monastery of the Ascension in Jerome, ID, on June 15-21, to conduct their regular visitation.

Fr. Christian Raab presented an academic paper, “In Search of the Masculine Genius,” at the Sienna Symposium sponsored by the Catholic Women’s Forum in Washington, D.C., on June 26.

Br. Stanley Rother Wagner participated in a two-week “Leadership and the Rule of St. Benedict” course in Sant’ Anselmo, Rome, July 14-26.
